Allison Graduates and Mother's Day

Andrew's sister Allison graduated from UNC with her Masters in Social Work in one year!  We are so proud of her! We stayed in Cary for the weekend and an enjoyable time was had by all.  It was also my first real Mother's Day!  Andrew surprised me with a dinner to Ruth's Chris!  We had a wonderfully fancy dinner date, thanks to the Page family for babysitting little man.  We also got to celebrate with Andrew's mom.  Have I mentioned that Andrew and I have the most wonderful mothers in the entire world!

Us with the graduate
I love being a mommy it has been the best 9 months!  Since I have become a mother I have grown more patient, learned how strong I really am, matured (I hope), learned true time management, how to multi-task with the best, how big my heart is, felt a new kind of love never experienced, learned to appreciate my husband more, loved him more as a Daddy, become closer to God as I now have better idea how He loves us as His children, become a baby food maker, a diaper changer, and learned to accept myself as I am and that I am awesome!  I love my little guy so much!  Bradford Michael Bost thank you for making me a mom!

Mommy & Daddy Go Away

The last weekend in April Andrew and I headed to Kentucky for two nights while Bradford stayed back with Aunt Amy!  I do not love the idea of leaving Brady leading up to it, but I enjoy coming back refreshed and excited to see him.  It is good for him to learn to be with other people and getting time away every now and then makes me a better Mommy.

Bradford crawling!

Bradford started crawling Wednesay the 27th the day we got back from the beach!  I was out to eat with my two best friends but Andrew caught him on film.  Of course he was motivated by Andrew's cell phone. He is his father's son!

Girls Week at the Beach (with Brady)

Easter Sunday Amy, Beth, Brady and I drove down to meet Sandra at Garden City where we stayed at the beach for a few days!  It was a very relaxing time of laying on the beach, fun girl talk, playing Mexican Train Dominos, and having Brady entertain.  He was so good and laid back and would just nap on the beach.  He was not as crazy about the cold ocean water, but he loved trying to sneak and eat sand, and playing with the sand toys Aunt Amy got him!  Thanks Sandra for a wonderful trip:)
Not a fan in the beginning!

Re-Creation

This is our Easter do over .  Here is Bradford in his Easter pj's and one of his Easter gifts in June!  The rest of the pictures are from the real Easter Sunday.  We went to visit my sister and brother-in-law Mat in Johnsonville, SC along with Aunt Amy, my parents and my dad's mom Great Grandma Clatfelter who met Bradford for the first time.  Saturday we went and got pedicures, walked the new Boardwalk at Myrtle and ate dinner with the fam at an AMAZING Mexican restaurant.  We had a wonderful visit and got to meet all of the people at Mat and Beth's church and hear Uncle Mat preach!  He gave an excellent sermon.  Bradford also started the beginnings of crawling...more to follow!

Grandma and Great Grandma came to visit!

Great Grandma Marilyn and Grandma Laurie came for a visit the first weekend in April!  We all enjoyed some fun time together!

6 Month Well Check

On March 11 our little guy went in for his 6 month checkup.  Bradford weighed 15.8 lbs and was in the 16th percentile for weight, and was 26 1/2 inches long and at the 55th percentile for height.  He is long and lean so to speak. He drank out of  a sippy cup for the first time Monday and just grabbed it with both hands and put it straight to his mouth.  Here are a few of Bradford's ADORABLE 6 month pics that Ms. Heather P. took! Print them as you wish or if you want any edited by Heather just let me know. The first ones of Brady in the vest and hat were made by my his Great Grandma Clatfelter for my dad when he was a baby.  When we told my dad that it was a boy he said he only had one request and that was that the baby had a picture taken in this outfit.
It doesn't get much cuter than this!
