To sleep or not to sleep? That has been Brady's question!

For those of you that don't know we have been waking up a lot at night between the hours of 1-3 or 4 or 5 for about two weeks now!  This is all due to teething only.  I took him to the doc on Monday to ex out the factor of a possible ear infection.  He is thankfully healthy as a horse.  It is hard to be a parent these days with everyone always wanting an answer and all of the "Baby Stuff" that is available.  There is almost too much on the market for everything and it can at times be a bit overwhelming.  Which teether is the best?  To orajel or not to orajel?  The nighttime one with pain medication or the all natural one?  Who cares?  What I want is what is going to work!  Well after some exhaustion and tears and trying to get advice from everyone he finally slept for 7 HOURS LAST NIGHT and then for another 3.  There is hope in the air!  Due to all of this it has been more pertinent to have me time.  Andrew hasn't been up with me much b/c he has had to work but has been super sweet in helping with dinner and other things around the house and letting me get out for a couple hours this week.  I love him!

Valentine's Day was sweet but not overly exciting at our house.  We went out to dinner Friday night and counted that as our Valentine's dinner out and Andrew got me a new wallet and some flowers and a card which I loved them all!  I doted on my two sweet valentines!

Have you seen my spoon?

Here are some mores pictures of Brady enjoying the experience of rice cereal!  I couldn't choose because I think they are all hilarious:)  Now that he has learned to pass things from one hand to the other (like his spoon), he is trying to figure out how to get it into his mouth!

Look what I can do!

January has come and gone by quickly!  Brady is changing so much and so fast.  He lights up when his Daddy comes home, they are fun to watch play together.  He is sitting up with assistance or propped up on his hands and is just as cute as ever as you can see!

Who me?

We have also ventured into the land of almost real food.  I realized he was still hungry and often so we gave rice cereal a go!  He loved it from the first bite and hasn't stopped eating since.  I went from having a 5 month old in 0-3 clothes to a huge 5 month old that leaped into his 3-6 month clothes.  He has gotten huge over the last two weeks!  Can we say GROWTH SPURT:)  Here are the first time eating pics!  More please!

Just hanging out being cute!

Random Acts of Kindness

This past Christmas Andrew and I along with two other couples were involved in a very fun and rewarding project!  It is called Random Acts of Kindness.  In our business we have a fun line called Ribbon.  For those of you that don't know Ribbon is a gift solutions and incentive line to help solve all your gift giving needs.  Basically you have a gift need to fulfill whether it be a wedding, birthday or baby shower.  There are many choices and price ranges to choose from.  The pamper album sounds extra wonderful to me right now.  Anyway,  the person receiving the gift does not know the price range you choose and receives the gift then redeems it online with their gift card number.  It is then shipped to their door for no charge.  It is a wonderful way to experience gift giving!

Random Acts of Kindness is for soldiers that were coming in for the holidays.  We went to the airports in Raleigh and Greensboro and handed out a Ribbon album to each soldier we saw.  Each album bought had a thank you card inside addressed and stamped to the soldier receiving it so that they could thank their sponsor.  They were all very thankful for being thought of.
