March...and into April!

The weather in March was unseasonably warm for this time of the year!  It reminded me more of late May when you can feel Summer around the corner.  March quickly flew in and flew out.  We did some fun things like going to To Dye For to ti-dye a t-shirt,  and we went to Cary to see Andrew's best friend Matt and his wife Beth off to San Francisco and hung out with Andrew's family for Palm Sunday as well that weekend.

We went to To Dye For with my MOPS group from church.  My friend Lindsay that I used to teach with came also with her daughter Brynlee.  She had Brynlee six months after Brady was born!   It was a neat place for groups because they had chalk for the kids to draw on the walls with, they could build with blocks or color while taking turns to all get their shirts ti-dyed.

Palm Sunday weekend we got together with Andrew's family to eat lunch at his mom's house after church for an early birthday celebration for Andrew.  Brady loved his stuffed lamb from Grandma!  He is a sucker for anything soft!

They better not try to take it from me!

One Sunday after church we were outside playing and low and behold there were horses walking down my street!  The horseback riders do not live too far away and occasionally ride their horses through the neighborhood and on the trails in the surrounding woods.  They remembered us from before and knew I teach horseback riding lessons and offered to let me ride!  I can never pass up an opportunity, let alone in front of my own house!  Before I rode Brady hopped up real quick to pose for picture with me.

February Love

February was a fun month full of love!  We had Beth's shower, got sick, celebrated Valentine's late, I worked and shopped at a consignment sale called Wee Runs, we went to Raleigh, went to a little friend's birthday party, got to enjoy some warm weather and Brady got his first at home haircut!

We went to Raleigh for a team meeting and Andrew got to take Brady to his 2nd  N.C. State game with Pop and Gramps!

We were invited to sweet Summer's birthday party!  She is one of our play date friends.  Bradford had a great time!

It was so warm out during the latter part of the month that I was able to sit outside and read.  It was wonderful to feel the warm sun and be outside on the deck reading while Brady napped!  I wasn't the only one enjoying being out in the sun!

So Bradford had his first haircut in September after turning a year old and his second one in late October.  Both of these times Andrew fought me and wanted to let it grow out yet both times he said it looked better than it had before!  Well again Andrew did not want to get it cut because he was in some sort of denial that Bradford's hair would curl....and well it just doesn't!

One morning when he again woke up looking like this I took matters into my own hands.  Sometimes this is a  good thing and sometimes it's a not so good thing!  I You Tubed how to give a child hair cut.  It suggested giving a young child a sucker to distract them which we did not have on hand, so we settled for girl scout cookies (he ate a lot of them so we could finish the haircut)!

Enough is enough
As you can see Brady was very excited to get rid of his mop and the fact that it involved getting to eat lots of cookies!

Beth is doing a ladybug theme for the nursery so we ran with that for the theme of the nursery, lady bugs, candles and  flowers with green, red and pink along with lots and lots of polka dots!  You can never have too many polka dots!

January flew into February!  Andrew and I both got new i-phones and we took pictures but again I am realizing that I need to take more pictures more often because time goes by in the blink of an eye!
