More shower pics...

Heather was able to play photographer at the shower all while also hosting it! What a multi-talented woman. She made them into a fun collage so I thought I would share:
I had another shower on Sunday thrown by Sydney and Wendy Page! I do not think I would have survived college without this woman, she walked me through many things, and her daughter Sydney is a dear younger friend of mine (she is not really very little, even though she is only 10) who I have given horseback riding lessons to and really gotten to watch grow up! It was so kind of them to want to do this for me. We had the most amazing pimento cheese dip, and some good friends from college/church/bible study came.Brady got some fun story books, outfits, and toys! I never realized before this how much stuff babies need; or that they have us think they need!:) The afternoon was a lot of fun! Then mom and dad took Andrew and I out to dinner for of course Mexican which we thoroughly enjoyed.

While Andrew is Away...

Andrew has been gone this whole week to Cedar Rapids, Iowa for training for work. The week has gone by pretty fast. Thank goodness!!! While he's been gone I spent the day writing thank you notes sitting in the nursery, going out to dinner with friends, Tuesday Sandra and Gary came to visit which was a fun surprise, I have babysat and painted some furniture.
There are two dresser drawers that I did not finish from a leftover project, and then I painted a lamp stand and two coat racks. One is for the mud room and the other for Bradford's room!
Brolly is excitedly awaiting Daddy's arrival back home!
I tried to post some pics earlier of Brolly as a puppy on another post since he turned one this month and couldn't load them, so here they are now . This was the first time Andrew saw him at the barn, when we went to decide if this was going to be our dog. Brolly is only three weeks old here!
From day one when he got home he loved to eat and still does (10wks)
This pic was taken early October.
Ready for his Halloween close up! I had to take a picture of this, they are just so cute and tiny:) Some pants I bought for Brady today.

Readying the Nursery and Shower Fun

The room is painted and almost finished minus a few touch ups. It went from white to Asparagus!
Thanks to Frank and Daddy who helped to get that accomplished! Next we are getting a dresser from Aunt Allison's old room that is going to be painted white to match the furniture, and a coat hanger that Grandpa Clatfelter made in shop in 7th grade that is also going to be painted white and hopefully last will be a tree mural with curtains and a new pad for the rocking chair that was Andrew's when he was a baby and that will be the nursery. We are so excited to see it all coming together. We also had a baby shower thrown by Mrs. Heather P and it was so much fun!:) It was at our "NEST" and had a bird theme. We ate taco "nests" since I have wanted Mexican my entire pregnancy and the serving tower even looked like a tree to go along with the "NEST" theme!
Heather thought of so many details to make it a hit:)Lots of good friends came and we received many exciting new things for Bradford like a jogging stroller, a convertible car seat, some adorable outfits and many other things! It makes me all the more excited for him to get here. He is already so loved!
After opening gifts everyone had the AMAZING butter cream strawberry cake from Maxie B's and painted cute little birdhouses!

Going Blogging

So I figured it was high time Andrew and I start a family blog since we are now starting a family! Since school ended in June I have found myself highly busy taking naps, getting the house unpacked, keeping it clean, and preparing for little Bradford's arrival. We have had a pretty busy summer so far taking day trips to visit friends and family on the weekends, going to Lamaze classes, parenting classes at the hospital, cooking out with friends and going to the pool.
To kick off the summer we went to Shelby to attend my best friend Claire's wedding.
For July 4th we went to Virginia and hung out with the Kinzie clan, we enjoyed lots of food, fireworks and catching up! Grandma Kinzie made Bradford a baby blanket, it is adorable. July is also Brolly's 1st birthday! Happy Birthday Brolly!!! He is anxiously awaiting the arrival of his baby brother:) I am into my 34th week and we are getting very excited as well! We started painting his room last night, really his Uncle Frank did, while Daddy helped and I attended for moral support. The color is Asparagus (green) and there will be pictures following when it is finished.
